Upgrading course for Chief Engineer and Seconf Engineer Officer (First Engineer Officer) on Ship of Propulsive Power more then 3000 Kw (Management Level)

This upgrading course is designed to prepare marine engineers for management-level responsibilities on board ships with propulsion power exceeding 3000 kW. The program is intended for officers seeking certification or promotion to the positions of Chief Engineer or Second Engineer Officer (First Engineer Officer), in accordance with international maritime regulations.

The course focuses on advanced technical knowledge and managerial competencies required for the safe, efficient, and environmentally responsible operation of modern ships. Key areas of study include marine engineering management, operation and maintenance of main and auxiliary machinery, electrical and electronic control systems, fuel efficiency, pollution prevention, safety management, and compliance with international conventions such as STCW and MARPOL.

Emphasis is placed on leadership, decision-making, resource management, and the supervision of engine department personnel. Upon successful completion, participants will be equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary to assume senior engineering roles and effectively manage engine room operations at the management level.
