OBJECTIVES

This course has as its objetive is to provide students with information to acquire the knowledge, understanding and competence necessary to achieve the objectives of the learning results to demonstrate their competence in passenger safety, cargo safety and hull integrity in accordance with Section A-V/2 paragraph 5 of the STCW Code as amended. .

 

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

The participant shall have:

  • Hold a current medical certificate of good health.
  • Hold the four (4) certificates of courses for basic safety training.

The Training Course on passenger and cargo safety and hull integrity, it belongs to the training requirements and instructions of staff to demonstrate their competence in passenger safety, safety of the load and integrity of the helmet, in accordance with the requirements of Regulation V/2, paragraph 9, Section A-V/2 paragraph 5 of the STCW´78 Convention, as amended and its STCW Code, comprises 17.5 hours between theoretical and practical time.
