Competence Courses
As a maritime training center, PAMEL seeks professional training based on competencies with an attitude towards research-development, directing academic actions that are incorporated into the educational structure of the technical training of seafarers in accordance with the IMO model courses of the International Maritime.
Organization and related through the following activities:
- Seeking the systematization of the available information, and favoring familiarization with the work area.
- Geographic dimension: Regional, national, international.
- Professional dimension: Students, professionals, scientists.
- Form Academic Bodies for national training centers.
- Define and develop basic and applied research lines, programs and projects.
- Develop the capacity of Seafarers and related personnel.
- Prepare seafarers to develop the full knowledge, understanding and skills required by the STCW Code.
- Provide Seafarers with a wide range of opportunities for maritime, port and logistics purposes so that they can be competitive worldwide.
- Develop the capacity of Seafarers. Teach general knowledge and by area of specialization of the courses recognized worldwide by the administrations.
- Technologically innovate in the use of the E-Learning platform.
- Measure the user’s Competence globally.
